Live Caller ID Plus performs real-time cloud lookups using Apple’s Live Caller ID system. When you receive a call, the system instantly connects to the cloud to retrieve the most up-to-date information about the caller. This may take a few seconds to display the information on your screen.
In contrast, the Auto-updated Database stores high-frequency caller numbers directly on your device. This allows for faster caller identification without needing an internet connection at the time of the call.
