Why do I have to authorize "Background App Refresh", if I want to turn on "auto-update"? Will it use a lot of data?

Auto-update will be running in the background, you will need to turn on "Background App Refresh" to allow updating the database. Auto-update will not use extra cellular data, because our database once a week and every update will use only about 10 megabytes of data.
